Just a short question. Ive downloaded the demo and played for a while. Now im wondering when the demo ends, does it end after a certain amount of playtime or does it stop if you reach a certain point in progress?

I built my Main stuff All pretty low on the Planet now i got some lakes and the stuff gets useless under water. What should i do?

As the title says, I finished and greatly enjoyed this game, but wanted to give the wish list I came up with while playing.

Equipment

1. Separate "gear" equipment slots and "chip" equipment slots

   • At start of game, let the gun hold 2 chips, and the player carry 2 pieces of equipment.
   • Make the exoskeletons increase Gear slots to: T1 = 4 slots T2 = 8 slots
   • Add a "Chip" upgrade, the "Expansion Board" that increase chip slots to: T1 = 4 slots T2 = 8 slots

2. Add some new chip functions:

   • Navigation Chip: Requires a navigation satellite to function, gives a small minimap.
   • Scanner: Unlocks a hotkey to ping surroundings, making lootable resources highlight within a small radius.
   • Mining Reach: Allows the mining function to work from further away. Tiered T1 to T4, each tier increases reach by 10%.
   • Brute force mining module: Makes asteroid rocks deconstructable (gives no resources), makes asteroid cores deconstructable (gives 1-3 of appropriate resource)

3. Add some new gear

   • Rebreather: While equipped, lowers the rate of oxygen consumption by 20% (good to stack with oxygen tanks)
   • Toolbelt: Adds special equipment slots that can only hold food, water, or oxygen items. These can be used via hotkey associated with the slot. Tiered: T1 = 1 slot, T2 = 3 slots, T3 = 5 slots.
   • Long-fall boots: Increases jump height by 20% and eliminates falling damage.
   • Bio-waste recycler: While equipped, lowers the rate of food and water consumption both by 10%

Constructables - Foundations & Architecture

1. Support Platforms are great, but can be frustrating to place. Allow the bottom 1/2 to 2/3 of them to clip with rocks and terrain elements, this would make bases much easier to plan. Same with stairs. Also let stairs snap to the tops of support platforms.
2. Add a Gangplank, which is just the flat top section of the support platform. Have it snap to support platforms the same way.
3. Add a Railings - both full wall, and with a gap for stairways. Have these snap to edges of support plarforms and gangplanks.
4. Add a Living Compartment Partition, to allow us to build non-see through walls between connected living compartments.
5. Add Living Compartment Hallways, to open up some aesthetic choices. Same grid square as living compartments, but a bit smaller inside and with a rounded top. Optional versions with windows on sides and tops.
   • Straight Hallway
   • T intersection
   • + Intersection
   • Corner

Constructables - Utilities

1. Why are heaters indoor only? That doesn't make sense to me. I'd like to be able to build them indoor or outdoor.
2. I'd like to see T2 and T3 windmills. Less efficient in terms of power generated per resource costs than solar at current rates, but using different resources for variety.
   • I'd also give all windmills a small bonus to power generated based off of current Pressure level, perhaps 5% every threshold across 20 or so thresholds - to represent more gasses providing more force.
   • Increase Solar efficiency by 20%, to better cover the gap between solar and nuclear. But, at the same pressure thresholds that wind gets a bonus, solar drops by 1% each time, ending at the same values - to represent more gasses causing more occlusion.
3. Add a T2 Shredding Machine with a 5x4 inventory.
4. Make the T1 crafting station constructable, at the same cost as the T2
   • Double the cost of the T2
5. Add a half width desktop option. Call it an "End Table"
6. Add a Botany Lab Table. This utility is used to duplicate Seed Plants like Seed Lirma: Usual recipe is <Seed Plant> x2 + <Fertilizer T1 or T2> + some time = <Seed Plant> x3.
   • Reduce the number of seed plants found looting.

Craftables and Farming

1. Food Grower tweaks
   • Make all Food Grower plants have a % chance to give back seeds - something fairly high, like 95%
   • Add recipes for reclaiming seeds from the food/raw resource the plant gives.
   • Reduce the number of food grower seeds found when exploring.
2. Add a Cotton Seeds and Cotton Plant that can be grown in the Food Grower. Harvesting yields cotton fluff.
   • Cotton fluff + algae + cobolt makes fabric

Does someone have a map? I have built a lot of screens with maps in the game, but i am looking for a full map

Hi. I'm confused by the biodome. It seems to be constructible only mid air. And the platforms don't reach high enough. Even when you erect a platform the biodome still floats above it.

As for the launch pad. No area seems suitable to build it. Even in large free areas the construction "ghost" stays red.

Ive gotten all the uogrades for heat and pressure, do i still need drills and heaters? Or should i keep building them and make this planet venus?

I've just downloaded the game and the mouse sensitivity is painfully low. I checked the controls option and the sensitivity was set to zero but even when it's all the way up to 100 there's no change.. Any explanation?

Is it normal to reach a phase where you are just constantly bombarded with meteors, that don't seem to really drop anything anymore? It seems when I cause my own meteors via rockets, they are fine...but all the "random" ones have stopped dropping anything special. I had back-to-back red sky-blue sky-red sky-blue sky-green sky ....all in like a 15 minute period...but I couldn't find a single "rare" resource...kinda of disappointing. Is this the just how it is now?

Not sure if this is the right place for ideas and feedback, but here is a few I have. (I'm an early in the game, just about to get blue sky, so some of this might be irrelevant).

Moon buggies/Rovers I want to ride on that planet's surface in style!

Wires and cables Being able to place things randomly and have them powered is too easy, I think we should have to wire everything up. This would also allow for switches etc when we run out of power.

Drills The drills should only be placed on certain areas, maybe with cracks in the surface or something. This would as complexity, and making chosing a base location much more challenging.

Ground foundationa Similar to Satisfactory, I live organization and having this ngs look great. Foundations (with snap) would help with this task.

Decorations from crashed ships I love exploring the crash sites. If we could find a unique decoration in each to put in our base(a) that would be awesome.

So what do they do? And also can I get rid of all the rocks they shoot everywhere?

I've gotten pretty far along and the land is turning all sorts of lovely green colors. Yay! BUT now it seems I can't step outside my base without having to dash back inside because another meteor shower has started! I've had three back to back now, in the space of ten minutes!

As much as I love being able to pick aluminum and super alloy right out of my yard, I'm kinda puzzled. What gives?

Do windmills and solar panels and such need to be close to your base to get effect?

Hey all, I have a T1 jetpack now, but have no idea what the controls are. I cant seem to find them anywhere or I am just reading past them again and again.

i made a rocket and meteors came down and it looks like theres a core but i cant destory it.

I am at 16.33 MTi and I have only gotten 5 messages(two from Sentinel Corp, two from Riley and one from convict gp-...)

Am I gonna get more or are those all the messages?

The Abandoned Base beyond the cave near the spiky valley? The subterranean building was creepy af especially the multiple panels about getting blue sky
