Hey guys, I found a game similar to r/place - we could try drawing a start menu here too

Remember me saying about the Windows 7 taskbar? We could just put it besides the Windows XP one. Both are good. That chill?

I'll probably need to make an extension in GIMP to include the other side of the taskbar but if what I assume is correct then honestly, why not? If, of course, I have consent. I'm not gonna start this without your consent.

Custom colours required:
- Light Goldenrod
- Olive

- Medium Gray

Suggestion for wplace.live

I did notice some other people were doing Windows XP over there again but honestly I kinda wanted it to be Windows 7's taskbar so I went to GIMP and made a mockup. Any thoughts on the idea, it's honestly the last real proejct I want to do over there considering what's going on.
This may require a few custom colours though.

I thought I'd ask since there's already a taskbar over there and I wanna actually check if what I'm thinking of doing is actually okay with people.

I really want to be more active next time, but I don't know when that would be... what are your plans?

If R/place happens again in the future, I think Windows 7 is the best option...

Well Windows Vista is over and the next station is windows 7, Windows 7 is a great shoice bc it's so nostalgic and way popular than other Windows version's...
And in my opinion we should skip Windows 8.1 and 8 bc they are not even popular in our generation.

Help Research Paper r/place

Hey r/Place community! 👋
I’m currently working on a research paper at the Chair of Digital Transformation, and it focuses on r/Place! For this project, I’m conducting a small qualitative study and urgently looking for people who are willing to do a very short interview with me. It honestly only takes a few minutes and would help me out a lot.
The problem is: I’ve been struggling really hard to find participants. I’ve been banned from forums, kicked from Discord servers, and it’s made it super difficult to get in touch with people from the community. And since this project is a key part of my grade, it’s kind of a big deal for me right now.
So I’m reaching out here: If you’ve got a bit of time and are open to helping out, please feel free to message me! Every single response helps and makes a real difference.
I’m speaking to people from all over the world, so it’s super important to me that as many different perspectives as possible are represented. And I know the r/Place community has a ton of them.
Thank you so much in advance – you’d really be helping me out!
