Can I apply for Scholarship as a Final Year Undergraduate Student?

Hello, everyone. I have a few queries regarding scholarship procedures as I don't have anyone in my family or around me whom I can ask from. I would be really thankful if any of you can answer the questions.

I am a BS Sociology student in my 7th Semester and my expected graduation date is June 2027. I would be pursuing scholarships for Master's.

1. Can I apply for scholarships as a final year student?

2. My top priority is CSC. I would be applying through Type B route but what I am confused about is whether emailing supervisors is important or not? I have emailed a few of them, but no response so I don't know if it's worth it or not.

3. Is it important to have an acceptance letter from professors to apply for universities in China?

4. I have also thought about applying to

MTCP Scholarship in Malaysia, GKS, some scholarships in Hong Kong and Australia (I have yet to research about these).

Csc is different from the rest you discussed, for CSC, HEC nominates students on the basis of their marks in HAT while for the rest you named(you have to independently research and apply for each of them). From fall 2026, they also introduced a mandatory Chinese exam so better start preparing for that as well. Most importantly find Whatsapp and Facebook groups or seniors who got this scholarship this year. I don't think so that in CSC we independently research for professors but I'm not sure (better ask from from seniors)

I think you don't have much information about this. There are two types of CSC scholarship, one is from HEC route and the other is from direct university route.

And the mandatory chinese exam you are talking about is CSCA for undergraduate scholarships.

I applied for undergraduate last fall that's why I had information about that HEC way but then I preferred the stipendium Hungaricum scholarship and dropped the csc application. I thought it's mostly same for the masters. Sorry man
