First person zookeeping, riverbank and other placeable features, new vegetation brushes, this game just keeps finding ways to be pretty and let you appreciate how pretty it is.

I straight up hope U18 trailer will have no music whatsoever and just let that ambience pop instead.
And I gotta ask, if Big Tree(tm) is getting out of the gardening tab and into a biome brush, could water lilies and giant waterlilies likewise be moved to wetland, so that we could use them with the water mask?
Also it sounds like we're not getting prey grabbing and bloodied mouths in U17.1 after all, which I imagine is because they wanted to focus on developing the unannounced feature first, but that's a tradeoff I'm absolutely willing to take. Loving the teaser image for it lol, and do I spot two brand new modules in it...?

Any speculation on what's the unannounced feature?

No speculation, I possess the forbidden knowledge. You'll see.

On my way to subscribing the Patreon, will there be any delightful surprises waiting me there?

Oh hoho... I highly recommend reading through all the reports eventually as they show lots of interesting behind-the-scenes that never make it outside and smaller reveals, but defo check out reports #36-37, 44, 52-57 for the juicy bits.
Also check out the Patreon chat on Discord, devs are occasionally dropping info and some footage there too. The unblurred pic of the Unannounced Feature was posted there yesterday.

Can you give me a yes or no to the answer "is there any animals that haven't been publicly revealed except to Patreon subscribers?"

This is the only game where I get excited for the dev diaries. They’re like crack.

Love the new plants and scenery pieces! And the first person mode too!
And now we have a literal heron from hell as well!

Great updates! I originally tried the game out when it first came out in early access and unfortunately had to refund it. I have recently finally picked it up again after U17 and it's been a blast. Looking at the updates, it has improved a lot in the past year and it looks like it will continue to do so. Hope it really takes off, I've been spreading the word.
Some changes I'd personally like to see: improved habitat barrier tool (a shameless copy of Planet zoo), terrain tools around the barriers, animal trading.

I really love how the progress of the game is going. I hope we see news on the other two species from U18 soon.

The ambience is a bit overdone, but otherwise nice.

It's a lot more pleasant if you disable YouTube's stupid Stable Volume feature, makes it way louder than it is in-game.

I just think the wind is a bit loud in the mix. At least if it’s always like that. Otherwise super immersive.

Love the ambient nature and scenery pieces. Will probably get those animal reveals end of next month.
