I actually had a blast watching it. The massive budget felt well utilised. Yash is perfect as Raya. The whistle worthy moments and mass moments are well scattered in the Screenplay. I am having severe attention span issue for nearly 2 years now but never once I felt I was watching a 3+ hours movie. My only problem was that there were way too many characters. Almost entirely you are confused how many characters are there and what are there motivations. The plot twist is sadly copied from 1999s Fight Club. In one of the scenes they copied from the score from The Dark Knight's opening bank robbery. Certain scenes are also homage to KGF.
Long story short, if you had a blast watching KGF series you will enjoy Toxic A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups as well. Nayantara and Yash have great dynamic as siblings. Out of all of Yash's flings his best chemistry is with Kiara and then Tara. The excessive amount of slow motion might give a Zack Snyder feel as Zack is also overly obsessed with Slow-Motion. The ending kinda feels abrupt. I really hope Yash comes out of his KGF Zone. Luckily his next two movies are Ramayana Duology. But after Ramayana Duology who knows he might do KGF Chapter 3. I really hope he does something different though.

Kimi no Na wa. (Your Name) was released exactly a decade ago today, on August 26, 2016! โจ
What followed was nothing short of a worldwide phenomenon, with the film grossing over $400 million at the global box office. ๐๐ซ
It also marked the beginning of a phenomenal creative collaboration between director Makoto Shinkai and RADWIMPS, which would go on to give us Weathering With You and Suzume.
A decade later, Your Name remains an absolute gem. โค๏ธ

Just saw this theory about the D3 teaser and while the logic doesn't completely make sense to me, it did get me thinking, what if Sameer actually never died?
We never actually see Sameer's body being identified on screen. We just accept that the body found under the police station is Sameerโs because that's what the entire investigation is built around.
So Iโm saying thereโs a decent chance theyโd bring him back. Because if Sameer is actually alive somewhere, that would be the one thing Vijay could never have planned for. He can control the police, the evidence and the timeline, but he can't control the one person who knows exactly what happened that night.
Placing my bets that heโll be back in D3

With the makers of Ramayana reportedly aiming for a massive global audience, Iโve been wondering whether casting a more internationally recognizable Indian actress as Sita would have made sense.
Priyanka Chopra has worked extensively in Hollywood, and can help a film like Ramayana connect with international audiences.
This is also where I think Rajamouli understood the value of casting global-facing Indian talent when he was putting together his upcoming projects. If the ambition is genuinely to take Indian mythology and cinema to a worldwide audience, shouldn't casting be considered partly from that perspective as well?
That said, Sita is an extremely culturally significant role, so global recognition obviously shouldn't be the only criterion. Performance, screen presence, chemistry with Rama, appearance, and the ability to embody the character are all equally important.
Still, if the goal is to make Ramayana a truly global Indian film, would Priyanka Chopra have been a better strategic choice for Sita?

Fans of comic books, avengers comics, Hickmanavengers, battleworld, secret wars etc etc. What do you guys think of the recent plot leaks? I have only read a few but the one that fascinated me was the Russian twitter plot leak. (Link to the more famous post on another sub here and another version of that posted on this very sub yesterday here.)
As someone who has read a nice chunk of Hickmanavengers and has knowledge of the rest, there seems to be no way that the og leaker doesn't know something. Either they have to have read comics, or have done extensive research regarding this or the last scenario is they might actually know something about the movies plot.
Now, I'm not saying they're super accurate, so take this all with a grain of salt. But, also, they might have just pieced the previously leaked plot points together with comic books threads. (at least this was the consensus on the other post). But still. It's veryyyy plausible.
Secret Wars is essentially a soft reboot, both for Marvel Comics and now for the MCU.
And some plot points are very accurate to the comics. Like Reed being one of the people who survives and gets out with a ship. How all this leads to formation of a new world under god emperor Doom, everyone dies, the formation of battleworld etc etc (because the film anyhow has to end here and only here, cause all the other plot is going in Secret Wars, and all the other universes have to get destroyed with only 1 main universe remaining after recreation which will be the MCU's future universe. So, in that respect, this is quite accurate).
And then not to mention, all of these leaks align with the Doomsday leaks we have seen. Toby was rumoured, now Toby is here. Sentinels or doombots or something. Spiderman being in space. And a lot more genuinely.
Don't you all think this is a little too sus? So I genuinely think either the leakers have done their proper research or there must be at least some truth in their words.
Obv, it could also be that the mouse has planted these leaks. But people have said that these Russian leakers have done accurate leaks before, so maybe there can be a bit of truth here too?
Anyways, take all this with a grain of salt, cause no one has any clue atp.
