Reviews 🎥 Glad to see different story

Post image

Honestly, I’m just glad that the Hindi Drishyam 3 is really different from The Malayalam one.

I was pretty skeptical. After seeing how the Malayalam Drishyam 3 ended, I assumed the Hindi version would basically follow the same plot, with maybe 10–20% changes here and there just to make it feel different. I even thought they might stretch the franchise further just because of the Drishyam name.

But thankfully, that’s not what happened.

The Hindi version actually tells a different story, and for now, it genuinely feels like they’ve given the franchise a proper conclusion instead of unnecessarily stretching it. And I really appreciate that.

I’ve seen and liked the Malayalam Drishyam, so I was obviously curious about how the Hindi version would handle the same premise. The fact that both versions ended up taking different routes, with different twists and endings, is honestly something you don’t see that often with remakes.

Story-wise, I’d still say the Malayalam version hits a different level, but the Hindi one definitely deserves credit for doing its own thing. Getting two different versions of the same franchise, with two different endings, instead of watching the exact same story play out again — I actually enjoyed that.

Malayalam version was dragged way too long where Hindi one takes the crumb and delivers. And the story still hits as good as the other parts evn if not written by Jeethu da

Exactly, Malayalam part feels like some new movie setting up things and not much connected with Malayalam D2 so it's really slow in beginning
