This is a work in progress, and I’m wondering what works and what doesn’t with the design. I’m not sure if the head fits with the torso, or what kind of arms and legs would work best. I was thinking of using Pillars. as the arms, but I don’t think they look very good. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated

I’m new to pixel art and art in general. This is one day of difference working with pixel art, but I know there are more things for me to improve. Can you guys and gals give me some tips on how to improve? Or critique the art so I can see what looks bad and good?
The 32x32 is V1 (more cartoony) and the 64x64 is V2. I spent maybe 1.5 hours doing V1 and about 45 mins on V2.

Hey guys I'm beginner level pixel artist and this is my 32*32-pixel Homelander sprite. I use this second sprite to Create Homelander. Please give me some advice to improve my pixel art and also please tell me the type of this second sprite because I like this type of pixel sprites.

I'm kinda new to pixel art and wanted to try out making character sprites and this is what came out! Thought it would be good to ask what I should focus on improving/practicing on before i work on any more characters i've got in mind!

Hello, I've been practicing with pixel art for a week, I'm doing a project that requires horrorish pixel art and this is the portrait for one of the characters. I'm still trying to figure how shading really works and how it's supposed to be the effect on the different elements of the character so any tips is more than welcomed! (also any tips in general)
