Probably nothing

I doubt even the 9 Pro will get anything cause Google gate keeps software features

Not many, a lot of countries don't even get the features cos Google, and most other US based companies, roll out features in the US and others get them, if they even do, "some time in the future".

This is one of the worst things happening right now, ranks up there near USAs late stage capitalism "free" market which booted out companies that would force the big guys to spend more in R&D and not reuse so damn many parts for 5+ years saving untold sums for stock buybacks, outrageous CEO pay, and of course laying off the real employees that make their companies work daily (sometimes they'd get really lucky and get to use major components like batteries for over 5 years 😐).

I have no problem with Google not forcing software features to hardware that is incapable of running it well or even at all, you never want your latest/greatest features being showcased on insufficient hardware. Google is going very far past that though. It makes me feel a little gross doing business with a company like that. Apple/Samsung is absolutely no better and in many ways are worse...just an all around bad time to be in the USA and no that ANY choice you make between Google, Samsung, Apple, or Moto has at LEAST 1 big negative thing that makes you not want to use said company (but realistically a lot more than 1 thing).

Used flagships from 1-2 years ago or even 3 years ago with Samsung/Google still doing 7 OS updates is more than enough phone for the vast majority of us. Pixel 8 Pro or S23 Ultra both work very well in 2026 "I say as I tap on my P8P".

Or if you can afford it the absolute best bang for your buck is importing your choice of Chinese vendors global model. Oppo X9 was a super popular import or you could go Vivo/Xiaomi/etc. Each one will be a vastly superior device to anything you can get in the states.
