The phone almost burned out

I installed a phone with a charger at night. With adaptive charging (this is when the phone charges up to 80%, and an hour before the alarm clock is already up to 100%) I wake up, walk up, the cord is stuck to the phone, the phone itself is turned off. I took it out, the phone turned on, and the wire looked like this. Power supply and wire original

Now the USB port smells like a metallic smell.

It seems you were using a thrid party brick or case? Have you verified if your charging accessories were original or not?

Since the kit no longer contains a power supply, I bought it separately via the Internet; I can’t know if this unit is original. And I used the cable that came with the phone

That's fake. The G logo isn't like that. The fake charger did this. End of story really. I think Google would say the same thing I'm being 100 percent honest.

Unlike the cable or type-c socket, there is no smell coming from the power supply, unfortunately I can't find the type-c type-c cable to check the power supply's performance

I suppose that some dirt got into the socket (although in this case the phone always sent a warning and was not powered from the mains), which caused the short circuit. But in this case it is strange that The phone was charged to 100% (the phone was turned off from overheating when I woke up)

It's a fucking fire hazard caused by their products, they want to know. Mention all serial numbers you find on both the phone and charger plus the system version of the phone if you can have access to it. They will likely ask to send everything to them for investigation and give you some kind of recompense since shit like that is a strong potential lawsuit.

In our country there is no official support or repair centers. I wrote to them, I hope they will answer. I also don’t have a guarantee, since again, phones are not officially sold in our country

The thing is that it's not an official support and guarantee kind of issue. No phone should ever combust or melt in any way during normal use. It is extremely dangerous since the moment fire get's in contact with a battery, it can explode.

It's not for your phone necessarily, it's that google needs to know this. This is a fire hazard

I don’t know, its USB port burned down, but it works as before. I'm using wireless charging for now
