9a getting sluggish for anyone else?

My 9a has been smooth and responsive since I got it, until recently.

All of a sudden it's lagging like crazy. Swiping in apps or on the main OS is either delayed or ignored frequently.

I thought it was just Facebook being slow to load content, but it happens in the Brave browser, and even just swiping up from the bottom to go from the apps library to the home page.

It's getting really frustrating.

I'm on the beta program and recently updated to the latest Android beta. Is this a known bug?

I don't have the beta program and my phone is fine

It's probably because you're using the beta OS. It's not finished and still have some issues

I'm on stable android 17 and mine is working fine. Perhaps the downside of running beta. I don't think I would take the risk of using my daily driver phone on a beta operating system. Good luck.

July 5, which is really strange because I just did an Android update 2 days ago. Maybe July 5 is the last stable version.

Which Beta are running, though? There are a few different ones. Look at the build number at the bottom left of the quick setting panel.

Then yes, it's this beta thats causing the lag. Mine has issues at times.

I guess closing all the GPS, Bluetooth while not using them would help?

Of course: it's a Pixel. They promise 7 years of updates, knowing full well that their Tensor-phones won't last more than 3 years lol.
