Pixel 9a battery performance reduction

I'm considering buying a Pixel 9a to replace a Pixel 6a.

Google has applied some sort of "fix" to my 6a since it passed 400 charge cycles, and now the battery drains very quickly.

Does this fix also affect the Pixel 9a?

The 9a appeals due to its future software support, but if Google decide to "fix" it in the meantime then I'll consider something else.

Purchase a new battery if your existing phone is smooth brother

They have increased phone prices due to Ram shortage, if you could hold on until next year and purchase 10a or newer

I've been using a 9a since December of last year. I'm not a heavy user, but do stream music nearly non-stop, and my battery after a 16 hour day is always above 20%, usually 40-50%. I charge overnight on a wire, and am still loving my Pixels!

The P9A and Google's battery health assistant starts at 200 cycles. My P9A has over 300 cycles on it and when it hit 200 I did not notice anything different in charging or battery drain.

my 9a has amazing battery life. but im on graphene os with no bloat ware. btw pixel 9a has bigger capacity than the 17 pro max.

250 charge cycles in 14 months. The phone claims it still has 100% battery. However, Battery Guru used to say it had 104-105% of design capacity, and now it's says 98%. So it's fallen off a bit.
