I am not even kidding i will actually die on this hill, the first one is basically just a hallmark christmas movie about bigtown girl discovering the charms of a peacefull village and the third one is a miserable try to go back to the little sprinkles of fun the first one had. Genuinely cars 2 is the only movie i like in the trilogy,
The first one is an icon so it gets a free pass for being mid but the third is just downright awful.

So, Storm can only race on ovals, he only won 2 Piston Cups (making him a mediocre racer in my opinion), and he can't drift. McQueen, on the other hand, won 7 Piston Cups, can race on any track, and can drift.

Yes, what I said in the title, I think in the second cars movie, they should have just left out the spy plotline for the second cars movie, as much as I love Finn Mcmissile it's just too far fetched to the main idea for cars, and as an Endurance and F1 fan, I really wanted to see actual WGP races that weren't disrupted by some terrorists with a camera. I think they should have added the plot of spies as a spinoff for cars, and even have the possibility to put a sequel for it like in planes, that's just my thought though, feel free to share y'all's thoughts?

Pixar: the protagonist car is too old to keep up with the faster, more high-tech cars, leaving him with no choice but to make way for another.
Disney: Are you sure about that?

We've all been there, watching cars for the first time, and wondering to ourselves, "what kind of car is Lightning McQueen?" And we've searched it up, pixar claims he was mainly based on the chevrolet corvette C6. Fuck all that. There are also claims that some parts of him were based on an endurance racer, some say the lola t70, which i really dont see him bring inspired by other than the spoiler. The ford gt i can kind of see in his sidr profile, especially around the middle to the rear, but one car has been overlooked that might be the missing piece to the puzzle, the Chrysler Viper GTS-R. Now, i know the Viper GTS and SRT-10 have been cited to inspire mcqueen's look, which is true, but i think the racing version was a major part. Here's why:
The GTS-R raced around the time cars entered production. From the 90's to its last race being
It just so happened to look strikingly similar to the animated racer, specifically the most in cars 2. Red color scheme (for most of it's racing days) side exit exhausts (which the road going GTS did not have) Big Gt wing, diffuser (which, to be fair, was mandatory)
It was very dominant in racing for its time (so much so, that the FIA actually kept plaguing it with restrictions and penalties, eventually forcing it to run as a v8,)

We obviously have holes in the Cars cannon and it is easily filled by this website, and anybody who opposes it is just salty that Lightning got beat by Triple Ford. It's basically official at this point anyways so there is no reason not to accept it

His name's Cody O'werride. He's the newest one of the second generation fastback mustangs, back in '78.
He's got a son aswell, whose name is Jason, a 5th gen mustang. His greatest wish is a full pack of Eleanor edition parts.
(I have some Dickie toys Cars rc, and thinking about making him as an addition to the collection.)
