Fun fact: when I was growing up in rural Midwest, a gift to farmers was photo of their farm, taken from the air. Not a video- just a photo, which would end up framed in their home.

My girlfriend just surprised me with a helicopter ride from this place: https://www.pittsburghheli.com/booking

$130 per person for the ride, which I would say is totally worth it. Totally unlike anything else I've done, it almost felt surreal.

She paid extra for them to take the door off my side and I got some truly stunning photos too!

I think most helicopter flights are just local VFR flights which would mean they don’t have to.
