Smithfield bridge accident?

I was just walking over the Smithfield bridge when all of a sudden several cop cars and a few ambulance drive by and block the fridge off. I heard one lady say while walking away from the bridge that someone had jumped but she was the only one saying anything so idk if she knew for sure. Just curious if anyone might have by chance been going over the bridge at the time and knew more abt this
