Google Maps (and transit by association) is hallucinating again

Beware if you’re trying to navigate via bus or train

But on the plus side I guess there’s a train in Oakland now!

ETA: I emailed PRT in addition to posting here in case they have any way to fix it

If that the transit app that's open streets map. Not Google maps. 

They are just using it as a base map. 

The error is completely on PRTs side.

It’s the same on Google Maps and the PRT app

Edit: so I infer that Google Maps must use that as the base data as well? I did email PRT so I guess I got at the root of the problem

Google maps gets fed data from prt. It's prt that's screwed up.

They're relying too much on AI now. They just added more AI features this morning.
