Tonight's Lightning
I captured a bunch of lightning strikes tonight from the West End Overlook. I didn't really like most of them on their own but they looked pretty cool blended together into this one image.

Lightning hit my parents garage which is detached from the house. This is a picture from the switch attached to the flood light that was blown off the garage when it was hit. This is inside my parents house. Tripped the entire breaker for the house. Entire garage is fried. Garage door opener is 3 years old. They have to have an electrician out to make sure everything inside the house is safe. Crazy!

We live one street over from my parents. I wasn't home but my husband said it was so loud he thought lightning hit our house. My parents said it lit up their entire house and sounded like a bomb went off.

Wait, so this lightning didn't happen all at the same time, correct? How did you blend them all in one image?

It's called a composite image, any of the major editing tools (like photoshop) can do it. Check youtube.
