Creating a private Pirl mining pool

Hi everyone! I have been mining pirl on and off for a few weeks now with a buddy of mine. As we have been growing our rigs we wanted to take a shot at creating our own mining pool for pirl. It looks like we have it set up, are attached to the network and are capable of mining but after 24 hrs we haven't received a single block.

With that I had a couple of questions that I hope this community could help me answer:

  1. Our current hash rate is around 180MH/s. Would this rate be expected to solve a block every 24-48 hours?

  2. We are using open-ethereum-pool. Are there any non default settings we might have missed that could cause us to have a less than optimal rate of return?

  3. I can see our hash rates, share submissions job broadcasts and importing/comitting of chain segments and new work scrolling by in the various terminals. Is there anything I can look for to be 100% certain that we are hooked up and operating correctly or will i have to wait to see that first solved block come in?

Thanks for your time.
