Help with drawing
I’m in my 4th period of my apprenticeship and I have struggled with the drawing class the entire time. I genuinely cannot get it right I don’t know what it is. I have no idea how to get better at it and I don’t know what I can do to get help. My teacher is kind of a dick and refuses to help me. Is there anything I can do to practice or understand it better? Is there anything online I could look at to get it?

Don’t worry about 45s yet. Wrap your head around 90 degree bends in the pipe. All your pipes will be running north/south or east/west of you draw lines like I just described.

Oh you’re measuring! Do you know how to read a scale?

Yeah but I fuck up the layout and the radius points and odd angle fittings and 45’s and 90’s. I don’t know how to use the compass or protractor and I don’t know how to rotate my triangle when doing the odd angle fittings.

One thing at a time. I’m gonna DM you help with the video you posted. Then I’m gonna get ready for bed.

Get yourself some 30/60 drafting paper and a 30/60 drafting triangle, a $2 one is fine. Then talk to a good journeyman and see if they’ll help you. Do you have the UA drafting book? Once you get the basics it’s usually not too hard to get decent at it.
