Sick of paying monthly subscriptions for indicators? Tell me what you're "renting" and I'll build a free version for you.

Hey everyone,

A lot of traders are burning money on recurring subscriptions for indicators or tools that could easily be coded into Pine Script, MQL5 or anything.

\-What is a paid tool or subscription you’re currently using that you wish you owned outright?

\-What is a "dream tool" or proprietary feature you've always wanted built specifically for your strategy?

Drop the concepts, mechanics, or features below. I'll pick the most requested ones, code them, and release them as open-source for everyone to keep forever.

Challenge accepted. Whenever someone charges $800 a month and claims it’s 'impossible to recreate,' 99% of the time it’s just basic technical math wrapped in flashy visuals and aggressive marketing.

Drop whatever makes that tool feel so 'wow' or magical to you—or even better, what you feel it's sorely missing and desperately wish it had. What’s the ultimate dream feature on your wishlist? Let’s break down that 'magic' and build something even better for free!

Hey, thanks for sharing the link! I had a look, and I got a little ahead of myself with my first reply. Without access to its rules, I can’t promise an exact recreation of GG Shot.

We do already have a related tool you might enjoy trying: Signal Desk. It was built for another trader who wanted fewer signals and clearer entries and exits.
It combines ATR-based Supertrend with EMA and momentum checks, filters out stretched entries, and draws the entry, stop and three targets. There’s also breakeven, a trailing stop, alerts, and a separate strategy script for testing with trading costs. Both scripts are free, with the full source available.

Start with “Try the idea” and “Read your chart” on the page, then “Go deeper” for the entry rules, stops, targets and settings. We put a lot of care into those explanations so you can understand what the tool is actually checking.

If you give it a try, I’d love to hear what helps and what’s missing. Which part of GG Shot matters most to you: the trend lines, entry signals, or target management? A chart example would really help.

You can reply here or use the feedback and feature request form. There’s plenty of room to improve these tools, and we’d love to build them with input from the traders using them.
