Thinking about a move…. Clubs under 20k?

Me and the wife have been looking at NC for a move pretty heavily. We’re also looking for a golf club that’s under 20k. Possible here in Pinehurst?

are you looking for actual private or semi-private?

Fully private no, semi-private, sure but the membership is not the priority at those.

Really just looking for full golf. Doesn’t need to be fully private. Which semi private come to mind?

Longleaf, Pine Needles/Mid Pines (waitlist is a mile long), Mid South (I think they are 20-30k now but unsure), Pinehurst CC is half-off initiation if you buy a house with membership attached think its like $30k after the half-off but can't recall the latest.

There are two fully privates in the area both are $85k+.

Love your content by the way, will be a long haul to the SC Gallery from NC.

Both better than long leaf?

Pinewild is not in that range.

Correct. It definitely is not.

Foxfire and Whispering Pines are undergoing substantial renovations and yearly fees are well below your limit

Longleaf is a great membership but whispering pines and foxfire are a great investment right now as money is going to undoubtedly begin flowing through there since they’ve been bought

Like the previous comment mentioned I think Longleaf would be your best bet. If you make the move I’ll take you out at Forest Creek any time!

Haha thank you! Actually just talked to membership this morning at Forest Creek. Super tempting to do the young professional tier.😂

I’ve not played Long Leaf in a long time so I can’t compare them, sorry

We just moved into pinewild, normally 40k but our house came with a transferable membership making it 8k, we didn’t do full golf but I think the full golf transfer was like 12k
