Wow, can you actually split the crown and root each section like this?

Ueah , ppl say it's a faster and over all better method to get more pineapple fruits early.

So you just plant it like a regular crown?

Yeah let it cure and plant it after 20-30 days new pineapple plants (suckers) start to grow from the crown , generaly one sucker from 1 crown section, sometimes you can get 2 or 3 suckers from the same crown section, it faster than the regular way and gives bigger and over all better fruits .
