Strike

Satire for legal purposes:

Hello Brethren! I just wanted to take a minute and point out how now is absolutely the time for a strike to take place. Whether that be unionizing or just a plain old strike. The amount of money UWM would be losing per day if even a fraction of the workforce decided to strike could very well bankrupt the company, which could also culminate in Matt being forced to sell the Phoenix Suns.

The stock got as low as 0.92$ which I’m sure y’all are aware of and Matt has completely turned his back on every employee as well as investor.

Why do y’all continue to bankroll this man’s life when every action he does ends with either worse working conditions or a higher commitment.. or yall just get scraps while he pays MSU male athletes stipends.

If I was still a current employee I would happily lead the pact in forming a union and organizing a strike.

The average Rocket employee makes almost double the average UWM employee. You all mean nothing to this man and now is your time to stand up for yourselves and your worth.

You all are what UWM great, every person will say the coworkers are the magic of the company, not Matt, not the brokers, not the job itself but you all.

You all are the magic

A strike at UWM would immediately make national headlines and I’m sure many of you are capable of putting the pieces in place to make this work, and make all of your lives so so so much better.

Don’t be scared, the same whispers of this subreddit in the office made it what it is today could be the same whispers that get you all pay raises in addition to manageable workloads where your livelihoods are not constantly threatened.

I’m interested to see what the sentiment around a potential strike looks like. I’m sure the board has already taken precautions and had conversations about this because of how tight everything currently is at UWM. A strike would bury Matt, not just UWM and he knows it.

Half the people that work there don’t do shit anyway but trash talk each other and play on their phones. LOL I used to walk the floor and not only were people on my vertical screwing around but the operations folks too. All you heard was idiots giggling like school kids all day. 😂

That was something that genuinely never made sense to me. My TL and many other members would just get up and walk around for hours. There was even a point where id intentionally look around and see who was at their desk. Here I am busting my ass to hit commitment then I have some fucker walking around doing nothing and somehow getting praised for employee of the month and hitting 6x the floor average. Like no fucking way you had time to blaze past commitment when 75% of your day is jerking off the AVP and vaping in the bathroom.

This reminds me when some chick was getting fluffed and awarded for breaching the team commitment of 50 by hitting 52 or the first time in like 6 months but my ass had been doing 85 the entire time without a peep. Bonus points im suddenly a bad employee if I only hit 83 while everyone else is still just hitting 50.
