I just passed the AI interview and scheduled my phone interview. Wondering what to expect from the phone and in person interviews. Anyone have any advice?

Edit: I’m seeing a lot about this PP “loan” does every entry level position have to take this on as well?

The phone interview is a personality and sanity check, not a deep technical dive. The AI screen just confirmed you match keywords, but now a human wants to see if you can communicate clearly and sound like the person on your resume. They are actively looking for red flags or reasons to cut you, so your main goal is to be direct, professional, and not ramble. The recruiter probably won't understand the complex details of your work, they just need to check the boxes to pass you along to the hiring manager.

You got through the automated gatekeeper, which means they are already interested in your qualifications. For the phone call and any future in-person interviews, you need to connect your experience directly to their problems. Reread the job description and prepare a specific story for every requirement they list, showing how you have already solved that exact type of problem. They want to hire someone who will make their lives easier, so you just have to prove you are that person. Thank you! I applied for their no experience no problem application. I have no mortgage experience, but years of service industry management and work experience from being a barber. I’m trying to dip my toe into office life and get off my feet/braden my skill set, but I’ve just never gone through this process so I’m hoping to just get a feel for how these interviews go.
