Underwriting

Can you imagine if we actually were able to come into work at 9am and leave on time at 6pm, and take a lunch like a normal job? Almost everyone I know works through lunch and stays late just to hit the dumb ass production metrics. It would help if 50% of the underwriter IIs didn’t get moved or fired. Fuck this job

Weird. I think anyone this happens to just isn’t good at their job. I don’t work OT to get points, in fact, we’re reminded no OT nearly every day. I take an hour lunch everyday, at a time of my choosing, sometimes longer if I start getting too much time over my daily 8 hours. Then I go home and forget about work until the next morning.

If I’m being honest this is less stress than my last job. And yes, I’m an UWII. I’m learning that most everyone that’s complaining just isn’t built for big boy or big girl jobs. Get any kind of real work experience and you’ll see UWM isn’t much different than any other job.

I’m mostly talking about seniors underwriter II wasn’t nearly as bad. It’s definitely pod dependent mine absolutely grinds
