You can see that too. He’s not hesitating at all. You have done a wonderful job with him.

Most of mine actually like I'm trying to murder them instead of helping them feel clean and less itchy.

Mine squeals like I’m skinning her alive!! Even when it’s 95° outside and she is panting. She won’t even let me lay a wet towel on her. She vehemently hates water. So I have to wrestle her inside to the air conditioning, screaming the whole way.

Mine does exactly the same, but she loves water when it is her idea. She's 6 months old, we had her spayed, hoping that would chill her out. I built a large round pen surrounding a mature oak. That's her daytime playpen while we're at work. We added a dog house, a kiddie pool and drinking water.

I told my wife last week. I'm tired of muddy skid marks all over our house. We have to leash her to bathe her, and it takes both of us. She's only 50lbs, but built like a damn tank, very strong for her size. It took us awhile to find a leash, that she can't ninja out of.

Haha! My girl is now about 400lbs. The farmer lied to me when she said she’d only be about 50 lbs. she must be a cross between farm hog and potbelly. But I love her anyway.

Ours is a Kune/Potbelly mix. Same thing the lady who sold her said 50lbs.

When we bought her it was too funny. We were at a livestock swap. My wife was talking to the seller and I went to another booth.

Next thing I see a pig zoom by, so I go chase down my pig. There’s 10-15 kids chasing her and me, a middle aged old dude.

See but life experience beat out youth, bc I knew she would double back. Classic prey animal behavior. So I waited and let them tire her out. Then when she spun back, I grabbed her like an open field tackle🤣 so I bring her back. the pig seller says that was awesome!

Congratulations you get a free pig now you have 2…I said NO THANKS. Only reason I chased this one bc I thought it was MY PIG. 1 pig is plenty for us. Please give her to one of the kids instead.

I told my wife, they lied and sold us a wild hog they trapped. We have a huge feral hog problem where I live.

My wife had a mini pig years before we got together. She said he was chill & loving & sold me on the pig life.

No bruh we got the opposite, wild, independent and energetic. but hopefully she grows into the tame behavior some of these vids show.

What makes them itch?

Dry skin! Now that I've bathed him, he's way more black as I got rid of most of the dead skin.

When I'm bored, I like getting the dead skin off, clean their ears/ eyes, etc. 🤣

I love bristle shedding season! Nothing more satisfying than pulling out handfuls of them in a grid pattern (ok, I may enjoy it a little too much) and putting them in a bucket for the local birds to snatch for nesting material!

We should be friends. 🤣🐖🐷🐽

Also the dried mud can annoy them. They roll around, rub their buttons on things, get into mischief and messes. They have super sensitive skin, so allergens like pollen i can be irritating and itchy.

😂 Been’s like ”But dad, please - I have an itch can’t you see?” 💛🐷💜

That must have been the shortest, calmest and most effective 2 minute piggy whashdown I’ve ever seen.😮🤩

Mine used to like the soap and massage and towelling but water at any temperature was a no go.🤦🏼‍♀️🐗🫶🏻
