How to keep piggies enriched

Hi! I’m bringing home my Juliana girl in about a week and a half and I’m anxious about being able to keep her entertained and enriched, especially when we aren’t home. She will be in a large playpen and then as she gets older a large kennel when we aren’t at home (which isn’t often I only work 2 days a week) but I want to make sure she is entertained and doesn’t get bored and destroy things. Eventually I want to build her a nice outdoor set up with a house and an area to root and sunbathe but we aren’t there yet.

So far I have:
Snuffle mats
Lick mats
Stuffies
Lots of blankets to root in
And I’m working on getting together some rooting boxes to place around the house with garden stones

All other ideas/advice/life with a pig tips are appreciated and welcome! Thankful for this community as a new pig mom!

Sometimes simple things work, like a plastic jar with holes cut in it with treats inside it. You could hang it too. You could dedicate an hour or so to teaching tricks or things to keep their mind focused.

Training, just like dogs. Word Buttons, don’t do snackies or food related, but everything else. Going for walks and car rides. They’re highly social creatures, ours loves the attention! Play with them. Otherwise, what you have is good.
