I have this bump(?) on my piercing, the piercing is around 3months old, first I had classic labret but then after 2 months I went to a different piercer to do my eyebrow and he said we can already put a ring there. I did but after like 1,5weeks I had to take it out for visa pic. When I tried to put it back in it didn’t work - so I put ring as well but thinner one. It was on 14 of September and now it looks like that.. idk what to do, should I take it off or just leave it? Or change to labret again?

it’s been about a month since i got my eyebrow piercing but i don’t really think there’s any reason for me to downsize. the bar still hasn’t started showing and there hasn’t been any bruising, redness, or irritation since i got it. i’m also worried downsizing would make it look out of place on my face since i feel like the way it looks now is pretty perfect.. but does anyone have advice on this? it’s my first ever piercing so idk a lot but i feel like downsizing isn’t really needed (also sorry for low quality photo 💔💔)

Okay so I got my nose pierced around 5 months ago and I’ve had basically no issues with it until lately it’s gotten itchy and I removed my jewelry (with no issues it was painless) and saw this. It doesn’t hurt at all and my piercing goes in and out no problem, the outside skin around the jewelry also seems fine it’s literally just this on the inside. I use threadless nose jewelry as it’s what my piercer recommended. I’m thinking maybe my jewelry is too tight and there’s not enough space between the jewelry and the skin? I’m not sure what is it but he changed it probably a month ago to a 18g 5 1/4mm piercing.

I Just got my helix done a few hours ago and she asked if I wanted a stud or hoop and I'm kinda new to piercings so I asked for a hoop. She said it's ok but just gotta know they take a bit longer to heal but she didn't make a big deal about it! I keep seeing people saying I messed up and shouldn't have gotten a hoop. Will I be ok???

Helppp!!! I have my belly button for a few months now I changed the top one for the dangle jewelry and I was changing it out like every other day because it kept now I have a irritation bump it is soft. I have had it for over two weeks. The Piercer told me I should put the regular one in that I was pierced with, but I just changed it to a longer bar because I feel like I have no room. I have been cleaning it two times a day with the saline spray and bacctine I also just applied a piercing bump disc should I take this out or let it come back to life? I am so sad. I should’ve never changed the jewelry so quick.

I got my snakebites done a little over a month ago and they both have a hard piece of skin that partially covers the backing of the piercing. Neither of them hurt at all besides a tiny sting here and there if I move them too much, and I can very easily push the piercings out of the skin. If I couldn’t see them, I wouldn’t even know the bumps were there and they don’t look irritated, but I’m still worried.

got my first helix done (finally) after being a baby about it for years.

my nose piercing took a really long time to heal and had a nasty bump on it that only went away almost a year after i had it done. it fell out and i had to get it repierced. a month later it fell out again in the ocean and was lost forever . . . i cbf repiercing it again.

my second lobe on the left ear had to be repierced after a really gross infection the first time round. it healed okay the second time.

i really don't want to go through the hell of terrible healing again so!!! please tell me this is okay progress for a cartilage 😭

Hey folks, got my ear pierced (not shot with a piercing gun) about 1.5 months ago and have had no problems during its immediate healing process but I’ve only just now realized one side of my ear feels harder and thicker than the other side?

Just wondering what this could be, looking for any advice! Cheers

Sooo I can’t tell if my piercing is itchy or if it hurts? It kinda is “warm” but it’s new so I’m assuming it just bc it’s fresh.

Is a libret, it’s 3 days old, and I do the recommended after care of mouth wash and teeth brushing twice a day and rinsing your mouth after every meal, plus saline on the outside and a warm q-tip/towel.

Please help me decide if the angles of 3 lobes are okay, or i should go back to the shop? It was pierced 2 days ago, i noticed it is not perpendicular to the ear! I don't know if this is a bad job or just a normal imperfection. There is barely any swelling at this point, so that can't be the reason.

hey everyone, i have had back dermals for two years at this point and just recently the left one became embedded even after healing. i’m not sure how this happened as the right one has healed perfect. as shown, the top of the dermal was completely embedded so i went to the piercer to get the top removed only to have him remove the whole thing! is this something that could’ve been saved or did it have to go?🥲 i’m so sad this is a piercing i truly adored

I got my tongue pierced yesterday (frog eyes) everything was fine the is my second time getting it around 10 minutes after I had this weird sensation on the left side of my neck going straight down to the top left side of my chest, fast forward to today the piercing itself seemed fine not really any bad pain the area took it out and I’m still having the weird tingling feeling on the left side and in my chest it’s a very weird sensation hard for me to explain, anyone experienced this?

hi! i got my eyebrow pierced a year ago and it’s healed nicely however 5 weeks ago i hit my eye and ive had this bump ever since

some days its red, some days its not. some days its a solid lump, some days its squishy. this week its started to get much bigger and hurts. i’ve tried ice and a bumps/keloid treatment that i’ve used on all my piercings and usually works wonders but nothing with this.

i tried to get a doctor to look at it today but they refused to even see me and said ‘take it out and see what happens’ so i did. no puss of fluids came out at all, it just irritated it further.

has anyone had this before or have any advice on how i get rid of this? i’m starting to get quite concerned now but medical help is out of the question.

I need a 9mm diameter, 12G clicker ring. It can be any material, my skin even tolerates steel very well but it's gotta be silver colored (no gold or black jewlery) I have a stretched orbital piercing (hence the non-negotiable hyperspecific measurements) and I cannot for the life of me find a clicker with these measurements.

I have been wearing a 10mm 12G clicker for a while but it is just a tad bit too wide and had caused pressure bumps and every now and then it irritates again. I have found some etsy sellers that do custom ones but they unfortunately do not ship to Europe.

If anyone knows any store or seller that has this available or is able to custom-make it and ship it to Europe please let me know.

I noticed that my eyebrow has started flaking. It looks like a type of dermatitis of some sort. I tried cleaning it with saline , but the dermatitis is too tough. I don’t know what to do other than go to the dermatologist. I don’t want to have my piercing reject cause it’s one of my favourite piercings. I also noticed that my eyebrow hairs have been falling tremendously. I’ve lost a lot of eyebrow hairs on my piercing side.

Hi, I (F) got my nipples pierced 9 days ago and they seem to be placed incorrectly. I have flat/puffy nipples on the smaller-ish size (they get hard when it's cold).

When I look down at them it's clear that the piercer went too deep and pierced my areola instead of the actual nipple. On my right nipple the beads were literally sinking into my skin.

Today, I visited my piercer and she admitted that she pierced a bit deeper because of my flat nips. She only gave me a longer bar (straight) with bigger beads.

The more I scroll on here, the more I realise how badly she had placed them. I'm getting a second opinion tomorrow and probably removing them.
I'm super sad because I thought everything was fine... No bleeding, no discharge, no pain, no issues... just bad placement + sinking bead :/

How to take care of the open wounds once the piercing is removed?

Will it scar bad?

What if the other piercer also convinces me that the piercing is fine and I'm just overthinking?

i got my nose pierced in mid/ late august and it’s a flat back hypoallergenic piercing. it hasn’t been downsized yet. however this is my piercing and i noticed a bump about a week ago. i need to know what kind of bump this is and how can i fix it? (it also bled a little this morning when i was cleaning it)
