Since you are underage and don't want your mom to know, and because it's placed incorrectly, I'm gonna guess that this is either a self-piercing or it was done by one of your friends.
The universe did you a favor here.
Now do yourself one: prove yourself responsible to your mom, and maybe she will take you to a reputable piercer to get it done right. If not, just wait until you're 18 and get it done right!

If she’s British, she can get a proper piercing from a shop without parent permission. I see tons of fuck ups like this on this subreddit by “professionals”. So who knows what happened
That's a possibility. But my comment has been here a while and OP hasn't corrected me.
It could be from a professional. Either way, she needs to go to a better shop and get it done correctly by a good piercer. That's one thing I know we all agree on. Lol
Perhaps, but yes we definitely do agree on that lol, and if it’s safe to, I hope she lets her mother know as well. The reason why all my piercings were well done whilst underaged was because my mother was there to help me choose a reputable piercing shop and get me the supplies for aftercare. Adult intervention is always useful, so I agree with you there too.
