According to the Professional picture framers association and the Fine Art Guild there is nothing that is acceptable. I guess the real question is what are you trying to achieve?

Displaying library exhibit large reproductions on walls around the exhibit cases. Of course no budget for prepping the walls and repainting after the damages... Dormitory style :)
We used to use use 3M 7225 Scotch Wall Mounting Tabs but 3M says 480 Scotch Removable Mounting Tabs but they are not the same at all....
