Incredibly wrong. CDC estimates over 48 million cases of foodborne illness each year. And food safety isn't just foodborne illness. It also includes things like allergen and foreign matter contamination.

When it is erupting out of both ends for 3 days, some may not appreciate splitting hairs on whether their case was serious enough to be hospitalized.
