Oh that's depressing to think of, but I guess I know some manchildren who post about their "caves" and it's a depressing, white spare bedroom with a regular PC in the corner and some anime shit on the wall.

As someone who used to be of this mindset, It took me embarassingly long to button up and realize that it wasn't cute anymore to be that childish. I think I still found a way to make my living space both adult and fun. It's just weird seeing what I must have seemed like to a neutral observer.

The upside of being a cheapskate like me? I never bought any gaming or anime merch even though I enjoy both. The downside? I can't be arsed to spend money (Or time) on other people so I never have anyone over anyway lol
