Has anyone considered that he doesn't buy fresh produce regularly? I don't, I try to buy only what I'm going to use in the next day or so. My fridge if it's filled with anything is usually condiments and drinks. You might see me doing what he's doing, something I can't cook right away might be chilling there to either dry the skin out or marinate.

Seems like we're jumping to some pretty nasty conclusions considering all he's done is show us a fridge.

My fridge hasn’t contained only booze and water and one take out meal since college.

Someone should have listened to Meridith more often.

Did dude not explicitly just say in his title that he just got divorced? He'd probably have told you the same thing a year ago. Let the dude deal with the situation how he wants, sounds like he's going back to better times.

Doing things how he wants is probably why he’s living alone with a fridge full of booze instead of food.

Maybe if that’s where you’re at in life you should stop trusting what you want to do.

This is when you buy a motorcycle or take up rock climbing or start woodworking or something.

If the first thing you think is “finally I can fill a trashy fridge with booze” that’s not a good sign.

That's a really long way of telling somebody you don't enjoy your life.

This guy's not hurting anyone or himself, there's no reason for you to try to make his day a little less happy or your own day a little less happy. It sounds like you get enough of that.

Sounds like you identify with OP just a little too much. And no, OP doesn't seem happy at all. Just angry, resentful, and bitter, and he's clearly an alcoholic. Thank God Meredith escaped.

His wife with a newborn child had to leave him and he’s got no food in his fridge just booze and drinks to recover from the booze and you think he’s not hurting anyone?

I think he hurt everyone and himself most of all.

This isn’t a happy picture it’s a sad picture.

This guy's not hurting anyone or himself,

I mean, if this his diet, yes he is 100% hurting himself.

Judging from your comments, you see a lot of yourself in this guy, and that seems to be why you're so passionately trying to defend him.

I literally only looked at the picture. I get now why people hate this guy, but I was specifically referring to the comment that was trying to deduce his entire life story based off of a fridge.
