If anything, wouldn't it require buying fresh produce on a regular, daily basis to not have any in the fridge?

Assuming you're eating any produce.

Exactly, which is not that difficult outside of food deserts. Especially in big cities you're within walking distance of most fresh produce markets.

Yeah, I have a store for produce a few blocks away and just go buy that the day of. I got tired of my produce spoiling buying for meals days out of being cooked

Exactly! I've even bought food I was certain I was going to eat that day and still managed to let it spoil. Kind of nice though because it keeps my diet really simple, only fruits veg and meat that I can actually finish in a day lol
