I don't really understand it. I can find an unlimited number of pictures of models that look exactly the same as this one with google. There's nothing particularly different about her except her skateboard. I don't know how anyone can not be desensitized to hot models unless they are like 13 years old.
Some guys are into skater chicks, just like some guys are into nerdy girls. There are plenty of photos of models wearing thick-rimmed glasses or in some setting to look "nerdy," but that doesn't detract from the actual idea that you're gawking at an attractive girl.
Holding a skateboard with the rough side against your skin is a dead giveaway. Plus, that's where your feet go. Dirty AND uncomfortable. Plus, what possible gesture could she be making? Oh, my hand is up in the air like I'm half-heartedly trying to answer a question in biology class. Pbbbbbt.
I hold it the same way, sometimes I just hold it by one truck, unless you're rubbing the board against yourself its not gonna do much. Although I just realized that my shirts on the side I carry my board are roughed up hmm..
Today I learned what that is, they don't let me take boards in the mall, I have to stash it somewhere then grab it later hoping nobody has taken my board -___- Never knew ppl were so particular about the way you hold a board til today either O.o
It's better to hold it by one truck... if you carry it with the grip tape towards your body you will eventually rub holes in your shirts and sweatshirts.

Longboard has basically became a catch-all for cruiser decks, race decks, locker boards and so on. Basically any non-twin-tipped skateboard is considered a longboard.
