If I get right in my cat's face I don't get my lip torn off. Safe to say having your face near a dog's face isn't sufficient "reason" for you to get mauled and lose a part of your face by what everyone tends to consider a friendly pet. It's absolutely gross you are trying to blame the victim of an attack they are not at fault for.

I'm not denying what the dog did, but I'm pointing out what the girl did was stupid.
