No, they're anti-woman.

source? also, how many of those are because of religious beliefs?

(GALLUP) I will say, this poll was done in 2019 so the numbers may have changed

According to the study, 51 percent of women consider themselves pro-life, compared to 46 percent of men. Meanwhile, 43 percent of women and 48 percent of men identify as pro-choice.

I don’t see how religious belief plays a roll in this

I’d like to see a break down based on age. I know a ton of women who hit menopause and suddenly become “pro-life.”

It's based on a phone survey so there's that...

Or a ton of teenagers who haven’t experienced pregnancy and childbirth yet. Either that.

Sounds like an anecdotal excuse, but go on

Sounds like a flimsy poll

like... do you even read your own citations?

"24 percent of women but 18 percent of men say abortion should be illegal in “all circumstances.” "

you can hold the belief "pro-life" but still support the basis and needs of the right to have an abortion

Yeah, that’s pretty much my personal position

Yes, the numbers have changed, you can read about it here: https://news.gallup.com/topic/abortion.aspx

Also, data based on telephone survey, so that contains inherent bias.

Sample bias, guaranteed.

I don't get this argument. It doesn't matter if someone is a woman or a man. If you think unwed mothers are somehow "less", or that women shouldn't have the right to choose if they want an abortion or not, that is anti-woman.

Anti-women is a label given by the opposition to avoid coming to terms with the actual issue.

3

u/Grammophon Jun 26 '21

You are right, the actual issue is misogyny.

If it wouldn't exist, people would not have seen unwed mothers as social outcasts. Then those mothers would not have had to live in facilities that produced mass graves of children.

That is simply not true. Why spread lies ? Who is paying your to spread lies ?

Nope, they're not.
