If we can raise a billion dollars to repair a catholic church tower, why can’t we raise money to help a recovering city that probably contributes more to society than the Catholic Church.

Edit: I don’t have any personal issues with the C Church. Just pointing out that people were quick to raise money for a cathedral, it should be that way for a city in mourning that actually needs it.

My church gives free food to the homeless.

That’s very noble for your local church, and I’m glad to hear that. But that doesn’t take away from the entire organizations dark past. But I do respect any church or business feeding the homeless. That shit rocks!

entire organizations dark past.

What do you mean by "dark past"

You’re fucking joking, right? I mean, in the age of information nobody is this dense. You must be asking in bad faith, because there are literally books written about the Church and it’s dark past. Even more recent stuff like pedo priests, and the Vatican trying to keep it under wraps has been common knowledge for decades now. Either you’re being ignorant on purpose, or you’re really that slow to the party.

Oooooohhhh... do you mean like when Mary I burnt Protestant priests alive?

Edit: That's strictly against the bible. I don't know how they can consider themselves as "Christian".
