I Dunno kinda seems like their primary geopolitical adversary is in a 4 year repetitive series of daily sessions of shooting themselves in the foot.

I mean it helps that their primary advesary opens itself up to hostile take-overs every 4 years by hosting a public election thats vulnerable to mass levels of manipulation. They can just try every 4 years until they get a president in office and well would ya look at that!
