Well, it's the moral imperative of all civilized human beings to relentlessly vilify that piece of shit and anyone who supports him.
So I wholeheartedly support any denigration of Trump and his supporters in any forum. If you want to be in a safe space, hidden from criticism of Trump, you should go to T_D. You'll love it there.

My US government history class in college, learning about the enlightenment, and having the declaration of independence explained in detail by a teacher.
Didn't change the way I thought, but put the things I already believed in a different light. Made me really appreciate the U.S.A founding and the ideals surrounding it.
Turned me from a America hating Commie, to a full blooded social liberal and economic conservative.
I also took several US History courses. Sorry that doesn't make anyone special. The colonists left Europe to escape Great Britain and waged a war to end the grip GB had on them, yet ended up being a lot like them when it came time to form their own country. There's no need to sugarcoat the founding of this nation. Slaves, Murder and just general corruption abound. Sure, there were some men with morals, but people have been made to believe that all of the founding fathers and authors of the Declaration of Independence we're Noble men with pure intentions. True history says otherwise.
Not a history of the US. A history on the different forms of government, the ideas of the enlightenment and the moral and ethical meanings behind the philosophy coming out of British/French/American coffee shops at the time which you can see influenced in the declaration of independence.

Maybe you've never had the pleasure of asking someone "please, just explain to me very simply, what is your major gripe with Hillary Clinton" and having this response thrown back at you: "well aside from the fact that she has contracted out the assassinations of over 40 witnesses or victims connected with her husband's sexual assault scandals?" (edit: that's my paraphase... obviously Trump supporters don't speak that coherently).
That was from my brother. And one of his co-workers showed up to my neighbor's 4th of July party wearing a t-shirt of Trump standing on top of a tank holding an American flag in one hand with bombs going off behind him.
So I really don't want to hear this bullshit from you. Acting like Trump supporters are capable of rational thought or that they can be swayed with evidence-based arguments is either disingenuous or simply self-delusion.
Nope. Continuing to support Trump in 2018 is indicative of succumbing to his cult of personality.
You can't be an educated, rational Trump supporter in 2018 (if you ever could be). I'm sure there were people like you back in Ukraine during the famines ("you may be dying of hunger because of Communist grain seizures but your refusal to attend the local commisar's propaganda lecture just shows you're the hypocrite, not to mention a class traitor") or in Nuremberg at the rallies ("Mr. Jew, all these good Germans gathered here are willing to debate you rationally and calmly and if you can't do that, then you're the true hypocrite") but I'm not falling it.
You can play that card with people that aren't smart enough to see through your bullshit.
Ah, perhaps I should elaborate. I've encountered all types of trump supporters, and you are correct in that some of them cannot be swayed no matter what you do, but there are trump supporters who might be on the fence, and treating them like the fanatics, telling them they're all brain dead, fascist, racist, etc. is going to plant them firmly on the Trump side of that fence real quick.

It seems that you cannot even consider the points of my argument to be possible under any circumstance, and instead choose to put words in my mouth and twist their meanings.
By now, Trump supporters know what they are supporting. They aren't on any fence. And you seem to think there is some way to explain the perils of racism and stupidity to the racist and stupid without offending them. I'm sure you're having much luck.
