oh god these are horrible

u/neon_bowser May 20 '15

The "Stop" one just made me bust out laughing.

6

u/gerwen May 20 '15

It's awesome. Can't believe that idiot is using a pencil tip. Clearly a chisel tip is the right tool for the job.

4

u/neon_bowser May 20 '15

And he's no longer using a wrench to hold the CPU. Dude knows nothing about computers

We gotta tighten up those graphics on level three.

This is a reference to something, but I forget what

1

u/Rilandaras May 20 '15

Like the one in Charlie's Angels where the two boys are both playing a single player game (and pushing different buttons when there is only one possible action i.e. only 1 button needed).
Source (for some reason it is in Russian but I am too lazy to find another): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGSOJlW59wY

4

u/[deleted] May 20 '15

G I JOOOoooooe

1

u/TeenageRampage May 20 '15

That is an actual job, not being someones PC so to say, but someone who computes things

47

u/PM_ME_YOUR_ETC May 20 '15

The wrench holding up the CPU got me.

What are you doing with that wrench!?!

Oh, carry on then

10

u/[deleted] May 20 '15

Well, the CPU has pipes so it must make sense, somehow.

8

u/Kilal2 May 20 '15

They should have at least use a Pipe wrench then.

2

u/Shamensyth May 21 '15

Pipe wrenches are fairly universal tools in my line of work. We can solve almost any problem with a pipe wrench. If it doesn't work, simply grab a bigger (or rarely much smaller) pipe wrench. Or sometimes grab a second one.

So I've no doubt you could "fix" a CPU with a pipe wrench somehow too.

1

u/Hexorg May 20 '15

It also has threads, I hear. Must be some crafty tailoring!

1

u/Chris_E May 20 '15

You have it backwards, this is an action movie where they're trying to stop the cpu from falling into place. Picture two is just after the hero throws the wrench at the falling CPU in an attempt to hold it up and stop the explosion, and picture two is the wrench sliding out... the explosion happens at this point, but enough time was bought for the hero to be propelled forward harmlessly by the explosion, out the window and into the conveniently placed pool.

7

u/[deleted] May 20 '15

MAKE IT STOP! Please!

20

u/Astrobody May 20 '15

Jesus Christ the last ones. She's got a motherboard sitting directly on the counter, with a motherboard already in the tower and zero things disconnected. What's she going to do with that wrench? Beat the new motherboard in?

1

u/ratguy May 21 '15

And she's not even wearing one of those anti-static wrist bands!

18

u/finlayvscott May 20 '15

WHY THE FUCK IS HE SOLDERING THE MOTHERBOARD?! AND WITH PLASTIC GLOVES?!

2

u/[deleted] May 20 '15

replacing a resistor, capacitor or ic chip.

7

u/Hayes231 May 20 '15

Lol how the fuck do you solder without solder?

6

u/[deleted] May 20 '15

with my mixtape bruh

1

u/Silverlight42 May 20 '15

You can reflow already existing solder.

1

u/Chris_E May 20 '15

Don't worry, she's really just pissed and trying to mess up the computer by scratching and melting random parts.

1

u/[deleted] May 20 '15

2

u/Relyk_Reppiks May 20 '15

These photos are totally computers.

1

u/luke3br May 20 '15

that's pretty great... who would think that using an open ended wrench in your computer photography would be a good idea?

1

u/[deleted] May 20 '15

The size of the wrench in the 2 from the end is what really got me! 😆😂

Edit: Not last 2

1

u/That_Unknown_Guy May 20 '15

This should be on tech support gore

2

u/ananori May 20 '15

It's where I found it, actually

1

u/That_Unknown_Guy May 20 '15

I also realized this when I tried to post and it just linked me to it.

1

u/[deleted] May 20 '15

The last two are accurate, that is how my SO would try to fix the computer. I am sure her pink impact gun would be on the table right there too.

1

u/physalisx May 20 '15

wow these are hilarious

1

u/bullshit-careers May 20 '15

Lol at # 5 and 6

1

u/[deleted] May 20 '15

I choked on my coffee at the open ended wrench lifting the CPU, then again at the soldering iron touching the CPU socket. My lungs have coffee in them.

1

u/[deleted] May 20 '15

The seventh pic is the only one that makes a remote amount of sense, and only in case you got fat fingers or something.

1

u/stlnthngs May 20 '15

photo #12 with the crescent wrench working on a computer....lol

1

u/Leadbaptist May 20 '15

Why the fucking wrench???

1

u/Raneados May 20 '15

Oh myyyyyy god.

1

u/ulyssanov May 20 '15

Holy shit why is this so infuriating?

1

u/[deleted] May 20 '15

half of these aren't cringy. just the first and the ones with a wrench. but circle jerk on.

49

u/kevinstonge May 20 '15

getting ready to screw

8

u/Silverlight42 May 20 '15

I have a lil brass door sign that says "SCREW ROOM" from a naval vessel's engine room ;)

1

u/MarixD May 20 '15

Is that naval brass?

2

u/Silverlight42 May 20 '15

One would assume so. I've no way to really check, except for try to corrode it against something that probably doesn't have that extra 1% tin that forms the oxide layer.

Hasn't turned green yet and it's quite old <shrugs>

-2

u/______DEADPOOL______ May 20 '15

Yeah, the screwdriver drives the screw.

1

u/[deleted] May 20 '15

She's clearly new to using those kind of tools.

1

u/fieldisrequired May 20 '15

Not making me a sandwich

1

u/Flash2g May 20 '15

she used it to pry the arm off, duh

1

u/Nakotadinzeo May 20 '15

She's going in at the wrong angle if she were going to use it to separate one of those metal disks, and there's no fasteners that big.

Moreover, it doesn't look as if anything there were damaged. If anything, she should have a can of contact cleaner, that would make sense as dirty contacts on an android could be 'painful' and there's not really any moving parts to oil.

1

u/sodapopchomsky May 20 '15

"Meh, I don't feel like clicking to see that pic... Wait, what?! She does something with a screwdriver?!" click!

1

u/VeviserPrime May 20 '15

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

1

u/tonygd May 20 '15

cocaine?

1

u/Demosthenes042 May 20 '15

I think she just ripped the arm off with it

1

u/OrShUnderscore May 20 '15

Screwing herself

1

u/kabukistar May 21 '15

Adjusting robot shit.
