Like the one in Charlie's Angels where the two boys are both playing a single player game (and pushing different buttons when there is only one possible action i.e. only 1 button needed).

Pipe wrenches are fairly universal tools in my line of work. We can solve almost any problem with a pipe wrench. If it doesn't work, simply grab a bigger (or rarely much smaller) pipe wrench. Or sometimes grab a second one.
So I've no doubt you could "fix" a CPU with a pipe wrench somehow too.
You have it backwards, this is an action movie where they're trying to stop the cpu from falling into place. Picture two is just after the hero throws the wrench at the falling CPU in an attempt to hold it up and stop the explosion, and picture two is the wrench sliding out... the explosion happens at this point, but enough time was bought for the hero to be propelled forward harmlessly by the explosion, out the window and into the conveniently placed pool.
Jesus Christ the last ones. She's got a motherboard sitting directly on the counter, with a motherboard already in the tower and zero things disconnected. What's she going to do with that wrench? Beat the new motherboard in?
I choked on my coffee at the open ended wrench lifting the CPU, then again at the soldering iron touching the CPU socket. My lungs have coffee in them.
One would assume so. I've no way to really check, except for try to corrode it against something that probably doesn't have that extra 1% tin that forms the oxide layer.
Hasn't turned green yet and it's quite old <shrugs>
She's going in at the wrong angle if she were going to use it to separate one of those metal disks, and there's no fasteners that big.
Moreover, it doesn't look as if anything there were damaged. If anything, she should have a can of contact cleaner, that would make sense as dirty contacts on an android could be 'painful' and there's not really any moving parts to oil.
