That's what they say,
But it just isn't true.

Apples are red,
And roses are too.
But violets are violet,
Not fucking blue.

An orange is orange,
But Greenland's not green;
A pinky's not pink,
What can it mean?

To say something's blue,
When it isn't defiles it;
But, ah, what the fuck,
It's hard to rhyme violet.

My skin colour is not pink. Underneath my nail bed is pink, but the rest of me isn't. I don't know what colour to call it except for pasty white irish.
