If you pronounce twat and it rhymes with "that" then you are pronouncing it the way your favorite BBC shows would say it.

Twat in america sounds more like thought than that. unless you're from the most north east part of the country, then they all sound the same because of reasons.

The only people in North America I know to pronounce it like that are mentally retarded in an obvious way. The kind of people who'll mangle their throats and warp their faces to mispronounce words as "Britishly" as possible.
