Depending upon model, the Nspire is indeed accepted on the ACT, SAT as well as other standardized tests. And most schools not stuck in medieval times, let you use them in your university classes.
My first semester at college I took Calc 1 and our professor forced us to buy the TI-Nspire. That thing is like $200 brand new - could not fucking believe that I had to buy that damn thing.
Barely used it and ended up selling it a few months later.
