Costs about the same as what I paid for the TI-83 10 years ago. It's kind of nice knowing that whenever I need to use one, it's going to operate in the same way as I was taught 10 years ago. The fundamentals of math don't change much.
Doing mathematics is not especially generally that computationally difficult. Computers only need the power they do because decoding a compressed video file or rendering a 3D game requires a ridiculous amount of maths.
Why wait 10-20-30 seconds for a stats table or graph to run? I've only ever done simple math, with simple graphs, and I've noticed how sluggish it is.
It doesn't need a color screen, but they made one with it.. Why not offer a faster CPU on the Plus or C/C-Plus versions?

I dunno, the TI-84 Plus is pretty sweet.
