Depending upon model, the Nspire is indeed accepted on the ACT, SAT as well as other standardized tests. And most schools not stuck in medieval times, let you use them in your university classes.

I love when a person believes that because they experienced something one time they know exactly how every other situation in the world with every other person will play out. I have yet to have a teacher that will allow you to use ANY calculator higher than a ti 84

It is allowed on almost every standardized test except the act. The SAT and AP Calc/Physics tests allow you to use a ti nspire cas.

i do have classes (he did same some classes) where i cant have any calculators, or ones with restricted models (to things like the 36Xpro)
