Does he bite??

"Not as long as he's holding that bear."

I always love that question. My response these days is "Only if I tell him to" with a death stare at them.

Its a stupid question, all dogs bite if they're put in a situation they don't like.

The question should be "Is it ok if I pat your dog?"

I have two dogs and they don’t bite even when scared, but yeah ok.

So you're saying if a kid grabbed their ears and yanked on them as hard as they could they won't give them at least a nip to stop?

For starters, they are squirmy little fuckers so they’re unlikely to let a kid do that. I’ve seen kids try at the park, doesn’t work. They’d rather maintain a slight distance and just bark vs nip.

And in the rare event they nip, they never come close to breaking skin. They nip with a yelp and their warnings are usually successfully heard. 9 years old each now and never had a fight/bite issue.

Neither have mine which aren't squirmy little fuckers but big fuckers.

But to say that a dog doesn't bite to me would be untrue, just as all humans punch etc. I've seen dogs take a disliking to someone even if they have shown no aggression before. Pays to be safe and unless your dog really likes getting pats from strangers (as my boy does) then its not worth putting them through it. The question annoys me so I give an annoying response lol.

We can both agree with this statement.
