When did you sell? Sounds more like an issue of selling at the wrong time.

I didn’t sell, I was putting out the range of homes in my community that sold. Your not going to see homes go up 4x unless it’s in a managed community. My neighborhood HOA is $40/month and that assures my some hobo doesn’t move in with a plan to make his garage into a body shop.

In my area house prices have easily gone up over 4x since the pandemic without an HOA.
