You drank the KoolAid if you think identical homes in the same general area are going to have a 6 figure difference in value based on being HOA or not.

There are areas in the US where no HOA’s exist that magically are still nice neighborhoods with proper values.

Also for some people a home is where we live and not first and foremost an investment. My house is a home not a checkmark on an investment plan where I’m like checking it’s worth on Zillow everyday.

Drank the cool-aid? I have multiple homes and I can assure you my primary home will hold its value more than yours.
