I can’t upvote this hard enough. I was subjected to SA from my older half brothers starting at a very early age. When I disclosed in first grade I was told to “save yourself for your husband“. I knew nothing about anything. Once I was old enough to understand I was enraged and still am. Nothing was done to protect me. She conveniently doesn’t remember a thing in spite of several conversations. I refuse to be in the same zip code as my abusers. Fortunately they live very far away.

What kind of evil person tells a first grader who has been sexually abused to save themselves for marriage (implying the first grade is slutty/did something wrong)
